Pandemic Playlist
I was brought up on country music; all the old-time songs are my favorite to sing with my family, and since all we are doing is being around each other, why not those songs. I listen to different genres sometimes, but its nothing I can really get into and continuously listen to. My playlist is, for sure, going to be basically all country. It's a great day to be alive by Travis Tritt just really makes you happy, and why not sing about being alive even when hard times are going on. I've been Watching you by Rodney Atkins; is a song that my sisters and I have loved singing together, and me being the youngest, I can change it to myself looking up to them. Ol' red by Blake Shelton Is also just a family favorite that all of us know by heart. It ain't my fault by Brothers Osborne, the song is great, but the video is even better, especially right now because it has the presidents in it, and it's just really funny so why not lighten the mood with it. I hope by Gabby Barrette Is a PERFORMANCE. It doesn't matter if you are in a good relationship at the time or not when this comes on, everything stops, and you go all out, and it's amazing. Get Along by Kenny Chesney is definitely a song that the world always needs because there is never a reason to constantly be fighting, so when you stuck in your house with just your family, get along. One Big Country Song by LOCASH also just resembles getting along were all alike in some way. Good Vibes by Chris Janson, the opening lyrics say how I currently feel right now this far into the pandemic. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all is the basic point. Just keep it all to yourself and let me be happy. All I want to do by Sugarlandalso shows how I feel, because all I want to do lately is nothing productive and just lay in bed. Whistle Stop by Roger Miller is the introduction song to the Disney animation robin hood; I love Disney movies so much, and whenever this comes on, I light up, and me and my sister start doing stupid dances to the beat. It just makes for a great time, and that's all I want.

A Little White Lie
Everyone lies, no one is perfect and does everything right. But most of the time, they are just little lies to protect you or someone else. All parents do this to protect their family or to just make your kids listen. My parents technically didnt lie to me; they just didnt tell me at all to keep me out of the bad situation, they told me what I needed to know, and that was it. A couple years back, the business my dad had worked at since he was 18 went out of operation, and my dad had no idea what to do next. My parents had not told my sisters or me yet, but I overheard someone talk to my mom about what had happened, so I was the first of us to know. After I brought this up to my mom, she sat us all down at home and told us the business what closing and another was stepping in. My dad refused to work for them, so he was going to work all of the last things the job needed him to do; then, he was going to find something new. After this happened, we knew we weren't going to be able to be spending a lot of money on unnecessary things and just had to start saving a lot more. My parents never wanted to make us feel like we didnt have enough money or couldn't do things because we are constantly in sports and that costs a lot. We went through phases that my sisters and I could tell were really hard, and we truly didn't know what to do, but my dad got a job as a truck driver. He was gone a lot, but we needed the money that it was worth it. Once my senior year came around, I was helping pay my sports fees, and my dad stopped truck driving to do farming with a buddy that would pay him what we needed. Through this whole time, I always knew we weren't in an amazing money position, but we were still stable because of my mom's job, and the only thing I was ever asked to do is if I wanted to paly two travel sports I had to help pay. Little did I know when through this time my parents were so worried we almost had to sell our house. If my parents wouldn't have "leid " to me, I do not know how I would have responded to this event.

Conflict
In the ocean at the End of the Lane, there are many types of conflict. There are many person vs. person, but two that stand out are first when the man moves into the narrators room; there is a lot of tension, and then he kills the narrators kitten. Another person vs. person, I believe, starts out as a person vs. nature. When the narrator and Lettie go into the woods and come up against the giant "person" but it is made of things in nature that's a conflict, then when she turns into Ursula, many more conflicts arise between the to as person vs. person. A conflict of person vs. society in the writing shown toward the beginning when at the narrators birthday party. The person who made his cake said kids his age don't usually want a book cake they want superheroes or sports cakes, this right off is a conflict showing him he is different and then no one showed up to his party.

The Triple Goddesses
The first of the goddesses is called the maiden. In the book The Ocean at the End of the Lane, the maiden is believed to be represented as Lettie. Lettie and the maiden both share many characteristics, right off the back the maiden represents youthfulness, sunrise, a new life, and potential. Smaller matching characteristics are self-confidence, which is shown when Lettie and the narrater travel into the woods and she says as long as you hold my hand you will be safe. Another time of confidence is when she is yelling at Ursala in the thunderstorm protecting the narrator. Independence and self-expression are other traits they both share, Lettie always speaks for her self and goes where she wants. When the narrators parents found him at them Hempstocks house after he had run away the mother asked when she should pick him up in the morning but they said Lettie would just walk him back and he would be safe. The second goddess is called the mother int the book she is represented by Ginnie she brings responsibility and adulthood. Ginnie was always able to convince the narrator's parents to trust them because she was so nurturing. The third goddess is known as the crone, she is represented as the old Mrs. Hempstock. The crone has characteristics of the ending, death, visions, and guidance. Just her name " The old Mrs. Hempstock" shows you she is an elder awaiting her ending. After the narrator ran away she was clipping his memories seeing the visions and helped him know what happened to him by his father is what made him who he is now.

Marlin was so upset he left Dory and traveled back to the same spot his wife was killed and waited for the same thing to happen to him. What was his life worth if everything he had and loved was gone. When Nemo returned to the ocean through the pipes and ran into Dory and they set off to find his father together. But when they arrived at the drop off all they saw was the shark staring back at him.

Predatory Reading Stratigies
Important predatory reading strategies can be passive reading, taking notes, outlines, making summaries, and analytic scanning. All of these and more are important for college reading because they will help to have a clear understanding and make it faster to get work done efficiently. There are 5 categories in the writing process that make it so easy to complete. The first is Prewriting and Planning, this is the starting point of topic statements but not full sentences. The second step is composing, in this step, you take the topics you made in your planning and create full sentences and maybe even paragraphs. The third step is revising and rewriting, this is to fix topics or to move things around to make the draft better. The fourth step is editing and proofreading, this is to look closely at words and sentence structure while finalizing the writing. The final step is release, to turn in the final project or to give it to the public. If you choose not to do all these steps and just do one draft and done then your choosing to possibly have so errors but it is acceptable if you have a valid reason for that approach.

Border Walls Divide
Border walls divide people in so many ways. Physical border walls divide by not allowing other cultures through your border, so you cant learn new things; you cant learn better ways to gather the necessities or teach others past your border your possibly better ways to do so. Your culture could be so advanced over others or so under advanced, and you would never know because you isolate yourself from the world with your wall. If your country is in need of a supply for survival but in your borders, there is none there is a whole world open where you could find some.
Mental borders divide with emotions. A person unwilling to try new food has built a border in their head, that all new food is not good. Some people's mindset toward green vegetables being gross just because of the color, but color doesn't make taste. These people have a border they are unwilling to cross because they are scared, and if they did cross it one day, they could be opened to an entirely new world. all borders divide you from knowing the whole real world and its many possibilities.
